Special Needs Ministry

The goal of St. Michael’s 139:16 Ministry is to provide an inclusive spiritual, social, and educational environment for children and adults with special needs and their families. We provide access to the Faith through the reception of the Sacraments and participation in parish life. Our name comes from Psalm 139:16 which fully acknowledges God’s sovereign hand in our lives: “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

The cornerstone of 139:16 is Souls for Service which meets on Thursdays, August through May. Souls for Service focuses on children and adults with special needs and their families, regardless of religious affiliation. We focus on utilizing everyone’s talents to give back to the community through service and evangelization.
